I help people who are overwhelmed by life.
You may be struggling with events from the past, feeling bogged down by ongoing stressors, or you simply feel stuck. In the service of getting unstuck, I use compassion, warmth, and direct communication to help you identify skills, inner strengths, and what is most important to you. Whether you suffer from depression, anxiety, relationship problems, health concerns, or the pain of the past, we can work together to discover greater meaning in life and how you can live more authentically.
While I hold an M.S. in Nutrition and Clinical Health Psychology, and am trained to work with a wide-range of mental health issues, my specialty is working with people who are overwhelmed by life and traumatic events. My experience in treating trauma includes using EMDR, CETA and attachment theory.
My work is based in mindfulness and rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). To present, my work has largely focused on treating individuals recovering from relationship violence, child abuse, and eating disorders. My work to treat the whole person and support you in taking effective action toward living your meaningful life furthers my vision of a world where people feel safe and limitless in their bodies.
